In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 09
(Series of 2005)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FOUR HUNDRED
FIFTY THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY PESOS (PHP450,170.00)
TO THE ITEM SALARIES AND OTHER BENEFITS UNDER PERSONAL SERVICES FROM THE TRUST FUND ACCOUNT OF GORDON COLLEGE


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Four Hundred Fifty Thousand One Hundred Seventy Pesos (PhP450,170.00) is hereby appropriated to the Item Salaries and Other Benefits under Personal Services sourced from the transfer of accumulated tuition fees collected and deposited under the Trust Fund Account, in trust for the Gordon College to wit:

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated January 20, 2005 and Certificate of Availability of Funds dated January 26, 2005 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
