In the interest of public service and motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 17
(Series of 2005)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF TWENTY THREE
MILLION TWO HUNDRED FIFTY NINE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED
SEVENTEEN PESOS AND 15/100 (PHP23,259,817.15) FOR THE PRIORITY
PROJECTS APPROVED IN BATCH FOUR OF 2005


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Four Million Four Hundred Ninety Seven Thousand Four Hundred Eighty One Pesos and 21/100 (PhP4,497,481.21) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund and Eighteen Million Seven Hundred Sixty Two Thousand Three Hundred Thirty Five Pesos and 94/100 (PhP18,762,335.94) chargeable to the PAGCOR FUND for various priority projects in Olongapo City to wit:

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated January 17, 2005 and a Certificate of Availability of Funds dated January 26, 2005 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
