In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Marey Beth D. Marzan co-sponsored by Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 26
(Series of 2004)

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING/APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF
TWO HUNDRED SIXTY SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED PESOS
(PHP267,500.00) FOR RECOGNITION OF ADDITIONAL INCOME FROM TUITION FEES, FROM THE ACCUMULATED TUITION FEES COLLECTED AND DEPOSITED UNDER THE TRUST FUND ACCOUNT IN TRUST FOR THE GORDON COLLEGE, AND APPROPRIATING THE SAME TO THE ITEMS MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES OF GORDON COLLEGE


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Two Hundred Sixty Seven Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP267,500.00) is hereby authorized/approved for transfer in recognition of additional income from tuition fees, from the accumulated tuition fees collected and deposited under the Trust Fund Account in trust for the Gordon College, and the said amount is hereby appropriated to the item Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses of Gordon College to wit:

Consultancy Fees PhP120,000.00
Representation Expense 45,500.00
Training & Seminar Expense 52,000.00
Travel Expense – Local 50,000.00

GRAND TOTAL - - - -PHP267,500.00



SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3 The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated March 14, 2005, the letter request of Mr. Arvin C. Esposo, Acting Finance Officer, Gordon College dated March 1, 2005, and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated April 20, 2005 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
