In the interest of the public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 02
(Series of 2004)

AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION
FIFTY NINE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED THIRTY TWO PESOS
(PHP2,059,832.00) FROM THE TRUST FUND TO GENERAL FUND
RECOGNIZING THE SAID AMOUNT AS INCOME FROM
ACCUMULATED TUITION AND RELATED FEES
OF THE GORDON COLLEGE


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Two Million Fifty Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty Two Pesos (PhP2,059,832.00) is hereby transferred from the Trust Fund to General Fund recognizing the said amount as income from accumulated tuition and related fees to the following items under Gordon College, to wit:

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the former Honorable City Mayor Katherine H. Gordon, dated June 29, 2004 and the letter of Mr. Roderick S. Tan, Acting Finance Officer, Gordon College dated 25 June 2004 are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
