WHEREAS, the Olongapo City Council is composed of elected officials with their confidential/personal and regular staff aiming to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the city government through ordinances and resolutions it creates.

WHEREAS, the Olongapo City Council, considering its great legislative responsibility and authority, needs to hire competent personnel to assist in the realization of its primal objective.

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Gina Gulanes Perez, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 19
(Series of 2005)

AN ORDINANCE ABOLISHING ONE (1) POSITION OF
LEGISLATIVE STAFF OFFICER I, AND CREATING ONE (1) PRIVATE SECRETARY POSITION (SG 11), (ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT V AS PER BUDGET CIRCULAR NO. 2004-3), CO TERMINOUS IN THE CITY COUNCIL

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. One position of Legislative Staff Officer I is hereby abolished, and one (1) plantilla position of Private Secretary I (SG-11), (Administrative Assistant V as per Budget Circular No. 2004-3), Co Terminous is hereby created to meet the staffing need of the Olongapo City Council.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
