In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, co-sponsored by Councilor Angelina B. Andrada, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 12
(Series of 2005)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF THREE MILLION SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHP3,600,000.00) TO THE ITEM MEDICAL, DENTAL & LABORATORY SUPPLIES EXPENSE OF
THE CITY HEALTH DEPARTMENT


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Three Million Six Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP3,600,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund, not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the Item Medical, Dental & Laboratory Supplies Expense of the City Health Department to wit:

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated February 15, 2005, letter request of Dr. Pacita E. Alcantara, City Health Officer, dated 10 February 2005 and a Certificate of Availability of Funds dated February 16, 2005 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
