In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 33
(Series of 2005)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION EIGHT
HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHP1,800,000.00) TO MAINTENANCE AND
OTHER OPERATING EXPENSE AND TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND
PESOS (PHP200,000.00) TO CAPITAL OUTLAY UNDER THE
CITY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Two Million Pesos (PhP2,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the items Maintenance and Other Operating Expense (MOOE) and Capital Outlay under the City Health Department to wit:

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated May 10, 2005, the letter request of Dr. Pacita E. Alcantara, City Health Department, dated 20 April 2005 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated May 25, 2005 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
