RESOLUTION NO. 19
(Series of 2004)

A RESOLUTION INDORSING COUNCILOR GINA G. PEREZ, TO REPRESENT THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD TO THE
PEOPLE’S LAW ENFORCEMENT BOARD (PLEB)


WHEREAS, the People’s Law Enforcement Board in the City was created thru Ordinance No. 24, Series of 199l pursuant to section 43 (a) of Republic Act No. 6975 otherwise known as the “Department of the Interior and Local Government Act of 1990”;

WHEREAS, the City Council has one representation in the Board which is material in enacting legislations necessary for an efficient and effective police governance and suppression of lawlessness;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Anselmo A. Aquino with unanimous accord of the Members of Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to indorse, as it hereby indorses, Councilor Gina G. Perez, Member of the City Council, to represent the Sangguniang Panlungsod in the People’s Law Enforcement Board (PLEB).

RESOLVED, FURTHER , AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution supersedes Resolution No. 13, Series of 2004.
