In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Bella P. Asuncion, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance


ORDINANCE NO. 40
(Series of 2004)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION
FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY NINE THOUSAND PESOS (PHP2,479,000.00) CHARGEABLE AGAINST THE TRUST FUND (CHILD FRIENDLY CITY)
AND TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHP200,000.00) CHARGEABLE AGAINST THE PRIORITY DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE FUND (PDAF)


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Two Million Four Hundred Seventy Nine Thousand Pesos (PhP2,479,000.00) and Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP200,000.00) is hereby appropriated for the projects of the city chargeable against the Trust Fund (Child Friendly City and Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) (OR #2742160; LBP Check #615961 dated 16, 2004) to wit:

1. Construction of Home for Abandoned Children building at Brgy. Sta. Rita PhP2,479,000.00
2. Construction of partition for senior citizen building at Brgy. West Bajac-Bajac PhP200,000.00

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable James Gordon , Jr. dated December 13, 2004, and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated December 21, 2004 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
