RESOLUTION NO. 04
(Series of 2004)

A RESOLUTION CONVEYING DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO THE BEREAVED FAMILY OF THE LATE KAGAWAD ROMEO GATBUNTON

WHEREAS, Hon. Romeo Gatbunton, was elected Brgy Councilor of Pag-Asa last 2002 Barangay election had peacefuly joined his Creator last July 11, 2004;

WHEREAS, he is one of the most loved and respected councilors of Barangay Pag-Asa, had devoted his life in public service from year 1987 up to his last breath as appointed Barangay Secretary, appointed Barangay Kagawad (President Cory Aquinos’ time) and as elected Barangay Kagawad;

WHEREAS, as an outstanding public servant, he had handled the Committee on Public Health of Barangay Pag-Asa and had passed important legislative agendas that tremendously helped realize beneficial objectives of the barangay;

WHEREAS, he had been the forerunner of the implementation of various health projects of the National Government and the City as well as in Barangay Pag-Asa since the start of his tenure in 2002;

WHEREAS, his wisdom, advises and teachings etched in the hearts of his children as well as his co-workers in the barangay will serve as guidance and inspiration to the next generation;

WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges Kagawad Romeo Gatbunton’s leadership, dedication and devotion to public service;

WHEREAS, the City Council joins the Gatbunton family in their moment of pain and grief and prays that God’s love will be in their midst;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED , by the Sangguniang Panglungsod in session assembled to convey, as it is hereby conveys deepest sympathies to the bereaved family of the late Kagawad Romeo Gatbunton.

Let a copy of this resolution be furnished to the Gatbunton Family for their information and record.
