RESOLUTION NO. 42
(Series of 2005)

A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE ADDENDUM TO THE CONTRACT OF JANITORIAL SERVICES DATED APRIL 1, 2005 ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF OLONGAPO AND SUBIC BAY WORKERS/VOLUNTEERS COOPERATIVE, INCORPORATED

WHEREAS, on June 16, 2004 the City Government of Olongapo and Subic Bay Workers/ Volunteers Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Inc entered into Contract of Janitorial Services:

WHEREAS, on June 18, 2004 the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Olongapo City enacted Resolution No. 87, Series of 2004 otherwise known as “A Resolution ratifying the Contract of Janitorial Services entered into by and between the Honorable City Mayor Katherine H. Gordon and Subic Bay Workers/Volunteers Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Inc. represented by Carmen Del Rosario, General Manager pertaining to the janitorial services at various city facilities.

WHEREAS, on April 1, 2005 an Addendum to the Contract of Janitorial Services has been entered into by and between the Subic Bay Workers/Volunteers Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Inc. and City Government of Olongapo.


WHEREAS, the Original Contract dated June 16, 2004 provides only for Eight (8) personnel:

WHEREAS, after careful evaluation of the job assigned to each personnel, services to be rendered as well as for the further maintenance of cleanliness on all areas of the Olongapo City Mall, it was deemed that the eight personnel shall be insufficient:

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Noel Y. Atienza, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to ratify, as it hereby ratifies the Addendum to the Contract of Janitorial Services dated April 1, 2005 entered into by and between the City Government of Olongapo and Subic Bay Workers/Volunteers Cooperative, Incorporated.

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that copy of the said Addendum to the Contract of Janitorial Services be made as integral part of this Resolution.
