In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 34
(Series of 2005)

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING/APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF
TWO MILLION PESOS (PHP2,000,000.00) AS TEMPORARY ADVANCES
FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND TO
THE ITEM OTHER MACHINERIES & EQUIPMENT (b) UNDER CAPITAL
OUTLAY OF THE PUBLIC UTILITIES DEPARTMENT


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Two Million Pesos (PhP2,000,000.00) is hereby authorized/approved for transfer as Temporary Advances from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund to the item Other Machineries and Equipment (b) under Capital Outlay of the Public Utilities Department.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated May 10, 2005, the letter request of Dr. Julie U Reyes, General Manager, Public Utilities Department and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated May 25, 2005 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
