RESOLUTION NO. 64
(Series of 2005)

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH KABISIG NG KALAHI AND DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE & DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPLEMENTAL FEEDING GROUP REGARDING THE SUPPLEMENTAL FEEDING PROGRAM

WHEREAS, health maintenance starts with proper and adequate nourishment of the body;

WHEREAS, the inevitable rise in the cost of living, the spread of poverty and the social neglect of many directly affect the rise of malnutrition, particularly in children;

WHEREAS, the City Government of Olongapo recognizes the importance of the health of its human resource particularly the children, and the eradication of malnutrition for economic growth and development;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Marey Beth D. Marzan, co-sponsored by Councilor Angelina B. Andrada with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sanggunian Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor To Enter Into A Memorandum Of Agreement With Kabisig Ng Kalahi And Department Of Social Welfare & Development And Supplemental Feeding Group Regarding The Supplemental Feeding Program.
