In the interest of the public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 05
(Series of 2004)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTY SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED PESOS
(PHP1,867,500.00) UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of One Million Eight Hundred Sixty Seven Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP1,867,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund, not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available under the Office of the City Mayor to wit:

Office Supplies Expense 600,000.00
Printing and Binding Expense 250,000.00

Grand Total PhP1,867,500.00

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of former City Mayor Katherine H. Gordon, dated May 6, 2004, and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated July 21, 2004 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
