In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 38
(Series of 2004)

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING/APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF FOUR MILLION SIX HUNDRED TWENTY FOUR THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY TWO PESOS AND 45/100 PESOS (PHP4,624,672.45) FROM
THE ACCUMULATED TUITION FEES COLLECTED AND DEPOSITED UNDER THE TRUST FUND ACCOUNT, IN TRUST FOR THE GORDON COLLEGE, TO THE GENERAL FUND ACCOUNT FOR FINAL RECOGNITION OF INCOME FROM TUITION FEES TO SUSTAIN
THE ABOVE-MENTIONED ACCOUNTS ALREADY
APPROPRIATED IN ITS CURRENT BUDGET

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Four Million Six Hundred Twenty Four Thousand Six Hundred Seventy Two Pesos and 45/100 (PhP4,624,672.45) is hereby authorized/approved for transfer from the accumulated tuition fees collected and deposited under the Trust Fund Account, in trust for the Gordon College, to the General Fund Account for final recognition of income from Tuition Fees to sustain the following accounts already appropriated in its current budget, to wit:

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated November 24, 2004, letter request dated 31 August 2004 of Mr. Edralino P. Cajudo, Chairman, Board of Regents, and Ms. Esmenia B. Sitchon, College Administrator, both at Gordon College and Certificate of Availability of Funds dated December 15, 2004 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
