A RESOLUTION COMMENDING CITY COUNCILOR,
HON. BRIAN PATRICK H. GORDON, PO3 MARCELINO P. MANGILA. JR.,
SPO4 RODEL P. SARMIENTO AND THE REST OF THE PNP TEAM FOR THE SPEEDY APPREHENSION OF THE SUSPECT SIGNIFICANT TO THE SWIFT RESOLUTION OF A HEINOUS CRIME IN THE CITY

WHEREAS, on August 14, 2004, a stabbing incident that had occurred at 5th St., West Tapinac, this City was reported, which claimed the young life of a nineteen-year-old female student of the Gordon College;

WHEREAS, after the autopsy report of Dr. Arnildo C. Tamayo and a thorough investigation by the police operatives, the crack team together with City Councilor Brian Patrick H. Gordon immediately conducted a manhunt operation in pursuit of the quick apprehension of the suspect;

WHEREAS, though stumped over by the motive of the crime, the diligent work and impressive teamwork of the investigators, the crack team, the negotiators and police assets led to the quick identification, smooth operation and speedy arrest of the suspect in no less than three (3) days;

WHEREAS, such prompt response, decisiveness and capability exemplified by the following uniformed personnel made the City prouder of their high level of commitment and exemplary devotion to their duties :

WHEREAS, the avowed principles they kept in their order of battle against heinous crimes of this origin is indeed worthy of commendation. The Olongapo constituents significantly allude their sense of peace and harmony in the community in the capacity of the police force to resolve criminality amidst diversified peace and order threats in the society. Their performance made the Olongapenos grateful and prouder of the community they belong to;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to commend, as it hereby commends City Councilor, Hon. Brian Patrick H. Gordon, PO3 Marcelino P. Mangila. Jr., SPO4 Rodel P. Sarmiento and the rest of the PNP Team for the speedy apprehension of the suspect significant to the swift resolution of s heinous crime in the City.
