WHEREAS, Mr. Emanuel E. Ramos, OIC, Business Permit Division recommended the extension of the renewal of Mayor’s Permit of business establishments on his letter dated January 21, 2005;

WHEREAS, businessmen requested to extend the said renewal until February 18, 2005 in order to give ample time to pay for their licenses and gather necessary requirements to secure a Mayor’s Permit,

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Teodoro D. del Rosario, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 06
(Series of 2005)

AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE DEADLINE FOR THE RENEWAL OF
MAYOR’S PERMITS FOR BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS FROM
JANUARY 31, 2005 TO FEBRUARY 18, 2005


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The renewal of Mayor’s Permit for Business Establishments is hereby extended up to February 18, 2005.

SECTION 2. All concerned City Government offices and barangay officials are enjoined to take part for the massive information dissemination of this Ordinance.

SECTION 3 This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
