In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 23
(Series of 2005)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHP500,000.00) TO THE ITEM REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE – MOTOR VEHICLES UNDER MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION AND MANAGEMENT OFFICE (ESMO)

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the Item Repairs and Maintenance – Motor Vehicle under Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses of the Environmental Sanitation and Management Office (ESMO).

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. dated March 18, 2005, letter request of Mr. Dante P. Ramos, City Government Dept. Head II, ESMO, dated March 9, 2005 and a Certificate of Availability of Funds dated April 5, 2005 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
