A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING DR. ERNESTO L. BATAPA FOR BEING CHOSEN AS THE REGION III NOMINEE FOR THE NATIONAL SEARCH FOR “ULIRANG NAKATATANDA” AWARDS 2004


WHEREAS, Dr. Ernesto Batapa has played a key role in having an active and effective Federation of Senior Citizens Association of the Philippines (FSCAP)-Local Chapter due to hardwork, diligence, integrity and a good working relationship with the chairman of the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA);

WHEREAS, the FSCAP Chapter under his leadership has made a difference in the lives of the older persons in the community, making significant contribution in promoting their welfare;

WHEREAS, the Regional Selection Board composed of representatives from Department of Health (DOH), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Education (DepEd), PIA, and the Bureau of Local Government Finance have recognized his exemplary performance, thus gave their approbation to Dr. Ernesto L. Batapa as the official nominee of Region III to the Search for Ulirang Nakatatanda being conducted by Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), under the individual awards category;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Angelina B. Andrada, with the unanimous accord of the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to congratulate, as it hereby congratulates Dr. Ernesto L. Batapa For Being Chosen As The Region III Nominee For The National Search For “Ulirang Nakatatanda” Awards 2004.
