RESOLUTION NO. 43
(Series of 2004)

A RESOLUTION ENJOINING EVERYONE TO SUPPORT THE NATIONAL CELEBRATION OF THE ELDERLY WEEK FROM OCTOBER 1-7, 2004 WITH THE THEME: “NAKATATANDA – HALIGI AT YAMAN NG KULTURANG PILIPINO”


WHEREAS, the group of elderlies in our society stands as our pillar of strength, source of wisdom and inspiration, and our guardian of morality;

WHEREAS, every generation of youth, and the different sectors of our society must learn to recognize the enormous contributions of our elderly;

WHEREAS, the City of Olongapo aims to show its appreciation to our elderlies, and values their importance and existence, thus promotes a supportive environment for their productive endeavors;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Angelina B. Andrada, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enjoin, as it hereby enjoins everyone to support the National Celebration of the Elderly Week from October 1-7, 2004 with the Theme: “Nakatatanda – Haligi at Yaman ng Kulturang Pilipino”.
