In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 36
(Series of 2005)

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING/APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF
TWELVE MILLION SIX HUNDRED SIXTY EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY ONE PESOS (PHP12,668,551.00) FROM THE ACCUMULATED TUITION FEES COLLECTED AND DEPOSITED UNDER THE TRUST FUND ACCOUNT, IN TRUST FOR THE GORDON COLLEGE, TO THE GENERAL FUND ACCOUNT FOR FINAL RECOGNITION OF INCOME FROM TUITION FEES.


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Twelve Million Six Hundred Sixty Eight Thousand Five Hundred Fifty One Pesos (Php12,668,551.00) is hereby authorized/approved for transfer from the accumulated tuition fees collected and deposited under the trust fund account, in trust for the Gordon College, to the General Fund Account for final recognition of income from tuition fees to wit:

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated May 9, 2005, the letter request of Mr. Edralino P. Cajudo, Chairman, Board of Regents, Gordon College dated April 7, 2005, and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated May 25, 2005 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
