In the interest of the public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 08
(Series of 2004)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FIVE HUNDRED TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FIVE PESOS (PHP502,105.00) TO
THE ITEM IT EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE UNDER CAPITAL
OUTLAY OF THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Five Hundred Two Thousand One Hundred Five Pesos (PhP502,105.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund, not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the Item IT Equipment and Software under Capital Outlay of the Office of the City Mayor.

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of former City Mayor Katherine H. Gordon, dated June 24, 2004, Purchase Request dated 5 April 2004 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated July 21, 2004 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
