WHEREAS, the City Council authorized ten (10) units of tricycles with four-stroke motor at Zone VI, covering the Iram Resettlement Area;

WHEREAS, such number of units are not enough to service the Iram Purok 5 ½ community;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the uniamous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 31
(Series of 2004)

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE TWENTY (20) ADDITIONAL UNITS OF TRICYCLES TO PLY THE IRAM RESETTLEMENT ROUTE

SECTION 1. Twenty additional units of tricycles are hereby allowed to operate in the following:

ZONE COLOR CODE AUTHORIZED NO. OF UNITS
VI Yellow 30

SECTION 2. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. dated 20 October 2004, is hereby made as an integral part of this Ordinance.

SECTION 3. Provided that the said units shall be subject to compliance of all requirements governing the franchise of tricycles.

SECTION 4. Any ordinance or parts thereof which are inconsistent herewith are hereby amended.

SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
