In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 39
(Series of 2005)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY
SIX THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FORTY SEVEN PESOS (PHP256,247.00)
TO AUGMENT FUNDS FOR THE PERSONAL SERVICES OF GORDON
COLLEGE CHARGEABLE TO ITS TRUST FUND AND TRANSFERRING
THE SAME TO THE GENERAL FUND.


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Two Hundred Fifty Six Thousand Two Hundred Forty Seven Pesos (PhP256,247.00) is hereby authorized/approved for transfer from the accumulated tuition fees collected and deposited under the Trust Fund Account in trust for the Gordon College, and the said amount is hereby appropriated to the items Personal Services of Gordon College to wit:

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated May 10, 2005, the letter request of Ms. Elenita DL. Angeles, Administrative Officer IV, Gordon College dated March 29, 2005, and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated May 25, 2005 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
