RESOLUTION NO. 49

A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF
ATTY. ANGELITO OROZCO, AS CITY GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT HEAD II (CITY LEGAL OFFICER), SG-26, UNDER THE LEGAL OFFICE


WHEREAS, the City Mayor has appointed Atty. Angelito Orozco as City Department Head II, City Legal Officer pursuant to Civil Service Laws, Rules and Regulations;

WHEREAS, Section 454(d) of Republic Act 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, provides that heads of departments shall be appointed by the City Mayor with the concurrence of the majority of all Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to confirm, as it hereby confirms the appointment of Atty. Angelito Orozco as City Government Department Head II (City Legal Officer), SG-26 under the City Legal Office which effects the appropriation in the amount of Two Hundred Seventy Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Two Pesos (PhP270,252.00) in the item City Government Department Head II under the account “Salaries” of the City Legal Office.

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of this Resolution be furnished ATTY. ANGELITO OROZCO and the Civil Service Commission thru the Personnel Office of the City of Olongapo for their information and reference.
