In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 18
(Series of 2004)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWENTY MILLION
EIGHT HUNDRED THIRTY NINE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED NINETEEN
PESOS (PHP20,839,119.00) FROM THE ESTIMATED INCOME AND SUBSIDY
FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO VARIOUS EXPENDITURES THRU A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET FROM JANUARY 1 TO DECEMBER 31, 2004 AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER TO THE GENERAL FUND ACCOUNT OF FIVE MILLION PESOS (PHP5,000,000.00) INITIALLY EARNED/COLLECTED BY THE CITY MALL AND DEPOSITED TEMPORARILY UNDER THE TRUST FUND ACCOUNT


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:


SECTION 1. The sum of Twenty Million Eight Hundred Thirty Nine Thousand One Hundred Nineteen Pesos (PhP20,839,119.00) is hereby appropriated from the estimated income and subsidy from the General Fund to various expenditures stated below from January 1 to December 31, 2004 to wit:

SECTION 2. The amount of Five Million Pesos (PhP5,000,000.00) initially earned/collected by the City Mall and deposited temporarily under the Trust Fund Account is hereby authorized for transfer to the General Fund Account.

SECTION 3. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 4. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated September 7, 2004 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated September 22, 2004 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
