In the interest of the public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 11
(Series of 2004)

AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE AMOUNT OF EIGHT MILLION
SEVEN HUNDRED ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FORTY SIX
PESOS AND 45/100 (PHP8,701,446.45) FROM THE TRUST FUND
TO GENERAL FUND RECOGNIZING THE SAID AMOUNT
AS INCOME FROM THE ACCUMULATED TUITION
FEES OF THE GORDON COLLEGE


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Eight Million Seven Hundred One Thousand Four Hundred Forty Six Pesos and 45/100 (PhP8,701,446.45) is hereby transferred from the Trust Fund to General Fund recognizing the said amount as income from accumulated tuition fees for the following items under Gordon College, to wit:

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated August 18, 2004, letter request of Mr. Edralino P. Cajudo, Chairman, Board of Regents and Ms. Esmenia B. Sitchon, College Administrator, both at Gordon College dated August 12, 2004 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated August 18, 2004 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
