In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Bella P. Asuncion, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 26
(Series of 2004)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED FIFTY EIGHT THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED TWENTY EIGHT PESOS AND 38/100 (PHP358,928.38) FOR THE PROPOSED CONCRETING OF ROAD AND UPGRADING OF EXISTING DRAINAGE CANAL AT BURGOS ST., (END OF CONCRETE TO BONIFACIO ST.), BARANGAY PAG-ASA THIS CITY CHARGEABLE AGAINST THE PAGCOR FUNDS.

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Three Hundred Fifty Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty Eight Pesos and 38/100 (PhP358,928.38) is hereby appropriated for the proposed concreting of road and upgrading of existing drainage canal at Burgos St., (end of concrete to Bonifacio St.), Barangay Pag-asa, this city chargeable against the PAGCOR Funds.

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated October 8, 2004, 1st Indorsement of City Engineer Reymundo Guevara dated September 20, 2004 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated October 26, 2004 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
