In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 19
(Series of 2004)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF SEVENTY THOUSAND PESOS (PHP70,000.00) CHARGEABLE TO THE TOURISM PROJECTS IN THE 20% DEVELOPMENT FUND UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The sum of Seventy Thousand Pesos (PhP70,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund chargeable to the Tourism Projects in the 20% Development Fund under the Office of the City Mayor for the Joint Venture undertaking between Olongapo Jaycees and the City to bid for the venue/hosting of the 58th Philippine Jaycee National Convention in 2006.

SECTION 2. That a financial statement will be submitted by the President, Olongapo Jaycees, Inc. within 30 days after the actual bidding has been conducted.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated September 2, 2004 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated September 22, 2004 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
