WHEREAS, the City sees the need to rectify certain provisions of the Olongapo City Revenue Code of 2002 overlooked during its editing;

WHEREAS, the correction of the said error is necessary to the computerization of the City’s tax system;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Teodoro D. Del Rosario with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in sessions assembled to enact the following Ordinance:

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH C SECTION 85 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 81, SERIES OF 2002 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE OLONGAPO CITY REVENUE CODE OF 2002


BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. AMENDMENT

Paragraph (c) Section 85 of Ordinance No. 81, Series of 2002 is hereto amended to read as follows:

“On exporter and on manufacturers, millers, producers, wholesalers, distributors, dealers, or retailers of essential commodities enumerated hereunder at a rate of one-half (1/2) of the rates prescribed under subsections (a), (b) and (d), respectively, of this Section”.

SECTION 2. REPEALING CLAUSE

Any Ordinance, resolutions, executive orders or parts thereof inconsistent with any of the provisions of this Ordinance is hereby deemed repealed and/or amended accordingly.

SECTION 3. EFFECTIVITY

This Ordinance shall take effect after its posting at conspicuous places in the City Hall for at least three (3) consecutive weeks or after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the territorial jurisdiction of Olongapo City, whichever comes later.

SECTION 4. Let copies of this Ordinance be furnished the Office of the City Treasurer, Business Permit Division and all other concerned for their information and record.
