Series of 2005

A RESOLUTION GRANTING AUTHORITY TO THE HON. JAMES GORDON JR. TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH QUEDAN AND RURAL CREDIT GUARANTY CORPORATION (QUEDANCOR) FOR INCOME AUGMENTATION AND LIVELIHOOD OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES OF OLONGAPO CITY.

WHEREAS, Quedan And Rural Credit Guaranty Corporation (QUEDANCOR), is a Government Owned and Control Corporation (GOCC) created through Republic Act 7393 with a 2 Billion Capital and sovereign guarantee;

WHEREAS, Quedancor’s vision and mission is in conjunction with the City Mayor’s quest to empower the populace and upgrade their quality of life by providing more livelihood projects;

WHEREAS, Quedancor will provide financing for livelihood project of government employees, the Ginintuang Masaganang Ani-Countrywide Assistance for Rural Employment and Service Program for Income Augmentation and Livelihood (GMA-CARES-IAL) has been opened for the local government employees of Olongapo City;

WHEREAS, cognizant of the benefits of the program to the employees, this August Body deemed it very imperative to grant authority to the Local Chief Executive this field of endeavor;

NOW, THEREFORE, on joint motion of Councilor Edwin J. Piano and Councilor Bella P. Asuncion with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in sessions assembled to grant as it hereby grants authority to the Hon. James Gordon Jr. To Enter Into A Memorandum Of Agreement (MOA) With Quedan And Rural Credit Guaranty Corporation (QUEDANCOR) For Income Augmentation And Livelihood Of The Local Government Employees Of Olongapo City.
