In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Bella P. Asuncion, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:
ORDINANCE NO. 25

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FIVE HUNDRED NINETY SEVEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FIFTY PESOS (PHP597,150.00) UNDER PERSONAL SERVICES OF VARIOUS DEPARTMENT TO COVER PAYMENT OF THE REPRESENTATION ALLOWANCE AND TRANSPORTATION ALLOWANCE (RATA)
BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:
SECTION 1. The amount of Five Hundred Ninety Seven Thousand One Hundred Fifty Pesos (PhP597,150.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the item Personal Services of various department to cover payment of the Representation Allowance and Transportation Allowance (RATA) to wit:

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
SECTION 3 The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated April 19, 2005, and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated April 20, 2005 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect April 1, 2005
