RESOLUTION NO. 58
(Series of 2004)

A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE PRIMAL EFFORTS OF THE CHIEF GIRL SCOUTS OF THE CITY WHO HAVE EARNED AWARDS FOR SPEARHEADING COMMUNITY PROJECTS THAT UPLIFT AND DEVELOP
A HEALTHIER ENVIRONMENT

WHEREAS, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines endeavors to help girls and young women realize the ideals of womanhood and prepare themselves for the responsibilities in the home, the nation and the world community;

WHEREAS, the City of Olongapo is proud that its young conglomerate of leaders, the Girl Scouts of the City are indeed committed to enhance and encourage their innovative capacities that will benefit not only the younger generation but also the community as a whole;

WHEREAS, five (5) Chief Girl Scouts in the City hurdled the challenges of the environment and implemented action plans for its development. Such great stride earned the acknowledgement of the GSP National Office;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting to recognize the emulative efforts of the following Chief Girl Scout Medalists and the support of their troop leaders and schools for their achievement, to wit :

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Robine Rose C. Buenafe, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to recognize, as it hereby recognizes the primal efforts of the Chief Girl Scouts of the City who have earned awards for spearheading community projects that uplift and develop a healthier community;

Let copies of this Resolution be furnished Girl Scouts Jean Kae Diosa, Nikki Guevarra, Ferjoys P. Navarro, Jeanalyn A. Gabut, Jenny Lyn B. Visda, Angelica M. Korzec and their respective schools for their information and record.
