RESOLUTION NO. 67
(Series of 2004)

A RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION ON THE DISTINGUISHED CONTRIBUTIONS OF MS. ANGELITA R. LACUESTA IN THE CITY

WHEREAS, Ms. Angelita R. Lacuesta, Education Supervisor I for Physical Education and Sports is due to retire on December 22, 2004 leaving an indelible mark of 41 years of service in the field of education;

WHEREAS, along with her wholehearted dedication, Ms. Lacuesta fused efficiency, skill and talent as she garnered various awards of excellence as Outstanding Physical Education Teacher in 1980, Outstanding Woman Educator in Olongapo in 1998 and Outstanding Division Education Supervisor I in 2003;

WHEREAS, her contagious positive attitude, enthusiasm, hardwork and excellent track record earned her the trust of the City Government to spearhead the hosting of the 2004 Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association (CLRAA) Meet where the City stamped fourth out of the fifteen competing divisions in the entire Central Luzon;

WHEREAS, together with the Committee, Ms. Lacuesta conquered the litany of challenges that went with the hosting preparations. As such, the heartwarming welcome program which presented the rich and vibrant culture of Olongapo, comfortable accommodations, unmatched peace and order and superb hospitality were products of her hands-on leadership;

WHEREAS, indeed, the success of the said event scaled the peak of her accomplishment as Education Supervisor, an achievement honed from innumerable classroom experiences, district competitions and other programs where she instilled moral discipline and spurred the creative development of her students;

WHEREAS, the City stands privileged to have been served by a model teacher, faithful friend and competent leader exemplified by Ms. Lacuesta. For this, her retirement serves as an encore in pursuing greater strides in other fields of endeavor;

NOW THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to commend, as it hereby commends the distinguished contributions of Ms. Angelita R. Lacuesta in the City.

Let a copy of this Resolution be furnished Ms. Angelita R. Lacuesta for her information and record.
