A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION
TO THE FOLLOWING ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS:
JOLLIBEE FOOD CORPORATION, GREENWICH, ACCORD BANK, COLUMBAN COLLEGE ELEMENTARY DEPARTMENT, MONDRIAAN AURA COLLEGE, OLONGAPO CITY MEDICAL SOCIETY, DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY, NATIONAL CENSUS OFFICE, IDESS MARITIME SERVICES, RJ MERCHANDISE, SAMMY’S GENERAL SERVICES, MR. MANOLO R. SILAYAN, MS. LINDA LIM, DR. LEILANI ASIS, DR. NANCY MENDOZA, MS. LINA SALAS,
MS. JOSEFINA LEGASPI, MS. GRACE ABAD AND MR. ROBERTO J. DADUYA FOR THEIR INVALUABLE SUPPORT EXTENDED TO THE CITY’S CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL BOOK WEEK LAST NOVEMBER 24-30,2004


WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 109 designates the period November 24-30 as National Book Week. To adopt the said celebration, the City passed Resolution No. 57, Series of 2004;

WHEREAS, the event was celebrated with fun filled activities such as treasure hunting, painting and poster making contest, presented an acoustic night, free blood typing, free clinic and storytelling;

WHEREAS, through the generous assistance and support of some organizations and individuals, the City, which is under a state of financial crisis, would have not been possible to conduct the Book Week celebration with such festive mood;

NOW, THEREFORE, on joint motion of Councilors Marey Beth D. Marzan and Brian Patrick H. Gordon, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to express, as it hereby expresses gratitude and appreciation to the following organizations and individuals: Jollibee Food Corporation, Greenwich, Accord Bank, Columban College Elementary Department, Mondriaan Aura College, Olongapo City Medical Society, Department of Education, Department of Trade and Industry, National Census Office, IDESS Maritime Services, RJ Merchandise, Sammy’s General Services, Mr. Manolo R. Silayan, Ms. Linda Lim, Dr. Leilani Asis, Dr. Nancy Mendoza, Ms. Lina Salas, Ms. Josefina Legaspi, Ms. Grace Abad and Mr. Roberto J. Daduya, for their invaluable support extended to the City’s celebration of National Book Week last November 24-30, 2004.
